Our journey starts like everyone’s, with a beginning, middle, and of course, an end. Let’s start at the beginning. My name is Will Brookins and am the owner of Black Buffalo BBQ Sauce I was born into a very multicultural family. My father is African American and Native American, while my mother is Italian with a German grandmother. Therefore, food has always played a significant role in my life because of my various influences. I have traveled extensively across Europe and Canada, and I have been exposed to many different cultures, with their various cuisines, which is my favorite. Eventually, after years of living abroad, I returned home to Texas.
Then comes the middle. I discovered smoking meats and took the time and patience to become a good pit boss while learning the trade from my uncles, who were pit masters. I began to wonder how I could combine everyone’s food together and give their meals that WOW factor. It was then that I created Black Buffalo, which provides unique flavors and bold tastes that cater to everyone. It helps save prep time and enhances the flavor profile of all meats, seafood, and vegetables. It contains low sodium, no sugars or fillers, and can be added to any sauce, starch, or dairy. Just adding 2 tablespoons per pound elevates your meal to the next level!
